SR628 Self-leveling Airport Runway Sealant
SR628 Airport Runway Sealant is a self-leveling, one component, ultra-low modulus silicone sealant. Specially designed for airport runway joints. SR628 Airport Runway Sealant is self-leveling and suitable for various airport pavement joints. It is an ideal product for airport runway joint sealing applications.

PACKAGING INFORMATION:
SR628 Airport Runway Sealant is supplied in 20 L plastic Pails and 200L iron drums bulk packaging.
USABLE LIFE AND STORAGE:
When stored at or below 27°C in the original unopened containers, it has a usable life of 9 months from the date of production.
LIMITATIONS:
• The product is self-leveling and can not be used on vertical surfaces
• Do not work in inclement weather
• New concrete or asphalt pavements must be cured or air dried before using this product
• Not suitable for long-term or continuous water immersion
• Do not use in a totally confined space, because sealant requires atmospheric moisture to cure
• Not suitable for frosted or wet surfaces
• Not suitable for all materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents
• Do not apply at temperatures below 4°C or when substrate surface temperatures exceed 50°C
• Sealant should be applied below the road surface to prevent wear
• Newly poured joint should be maintained in dry weather for at least 7 days

SELECTION OF AIRPORT RUNWAY SEALANT:
According to the environmental requirements of the airport runway, the joint sealant should have the following properties:
• In the hot weather in summer, the sealant can not be thermally degraded, sticky, loses elasticity, and is elongated and deformed, and can not lose the reliable bonding ability to the sidewall of the joint
• In cold climates, concrete will shrinks and joint wider, the sealant does not lose the elastic elongation ability and reliably bonding ability to the sidewalls of the joint
• Under the immersion of rainwater, the sealant does not produce visible hydrolysis and loss of reliable bonding to the seam
• The sealant does not swell and dissolve under jet fuel immersion
• The sealant can withstand the impact of high temperature jets from aircraft and snow sweepers, without being punched out of the seam and maintaining good elasticity
• Good resistance to natural aging
• Environmentally friendly, can not pollute the environment and harmful to human health
PRECAUTIONS:
• Please read the safety data sheet of this product prior to use
• Avoid contact with eyes before curing. If contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor
• Pay attention to ventilation in the working areas
• Uncured products should avoid contact with children
